You might think we have full LGBTI equality, but we don’t yet. There’s still unfinished business.

For most people, updating their birth certificate is really simple. But for trans or gender diverse people, updating your birth certificate so it correctly reflects your gender, can be almost impossible.

We are calling on all governments in every state and territory to remove the unnecessary barriers that prevent trans and gender diverse people from updating their ID. 

Everyone in the trans and gender diverse communities should be able to change their ID to correctly reflect their gender identity.
